B747 EIDSThe IS&S Engine Instrument Display System (EIDS) is designed specifically as a value-added, low-cost upgrade of the B747 engine instrument cluster. This easily retrofitted replacement system is compatible with the existing cockpit configuration. It provides all existing engine related parameters and surface position indicators using 6” x 8 LCDs (Liquid Crystal Displays), one (1) Standby Engine Instrument, one (1) Display Control Panel, and (2) Engine Data Concentrator Units in lieu of fifty-one (51) individual electromechanical instruments. |
